The rabbit and the hound

A rabbit was chased(追逐) by long-legged(长腿) hounds(猎狗) in a wood.
“I need to run faster.” “Stop, you can’t run away from us.”
The hounds tried their best but missed catching the rabbit.
After a while, the hunter said ironically(讽刺) to his hounds. “You have long fast legs, why didn’t you catch that small rabbit?”
One of the hounds said, “Look, we and the rabbit are different. The rabbit ran for it’s life, we’re just running for food.”
  Everything depends(依靠) on you.
