Ten days left…Nine days left…Eight days left…Spring Festival is almost here, and I say it once every day. I wished for Spring Festival to be here very quick. 　
　　When people get prepared for Spring Festival, grown-ups buy lots of things for Spring Festival, and we clean the house completely. We also stick some red papers with words on it outside the door, people think these will be good luck, since red is a lucky colour in China. 　
　　On Spring Festival’s Eve before supper, we will have to commemorate our ancesters, because they have brought us to this world. Right after supper, we can watch the fireworks from Xincheng Square, it’s near our apartment. The trees in the street were usually decorated like Christmas trees. I remembered once when I was little and I’m with my older brother, we duck under a tree to watch the fireworks. Then, we go back home and watch TV the whole night starting from 20:00, it was really fun. But none of us could finish watching the programme. And it’s hard to go to sleep since the fireworks and firecrackers are too noisy. 　
　　Spring Festival here in Xi’an, we have dumplings for breakfast and I like them. I think people wanted to eat dumplings because their shape is like ancient gold bricks. We kids wish the grown-ups “Happy New Year!”， and we got lucky money put in red paper bags. At noon, we have a big meal at a big restaurant. We kids also have our new clothes on. 　
　　On the second day of Spring Festival, we go and visit our relatives, we have decided to go to each family in turns, and that’s a family tradition. We kids have to do some little shows to the grown-ups, then we went out to an restaurant to have the lunch, too. And the lucky money still continues. 　
　　And so does the Spring Festival continues, it only stops at the last day of Spring Festival, the Lantern Festival. Sometimes we still watch TV, we also guess riddles hidden in lanterns, kids often go around in the street with their little lanterns lighted up. It’s always fun and we never wanted it to end. But the whole Spring Festival is over and we will have to go back to school again.
